This guide serves as an escort through the maintenance process to clean the filters of the HP Jet Fusion 580 after a print has finished.

Select Maintenance on the touch screen

Go to the cleaning section and select "Vacuum Air Filter"

Wear a mask and gloves

Open the agent door
-
Open drawer B5 to reveal the filter housing

Pull up on the blue handle - inside is the filter

Turn on the vacuum, hold it near the filter, and bang the filter up and down inside the housing for 30 seconds

Now take out the filer and proceed to hit it against the floor (softly) with the vacuum near it until there is no longer powder coming out

Inside the housing there will be a few inches of powder - vacuum this all out until it is clean

Once everything is clean, put back the filter, close all of the doors, and click finish on the touchpad
