v0.2

Minor Versionm

by Aidan Samuel Mendes

Introduction

When the HP has been left to sit for a long period of time, it typically builds up ink in the nozzles. These nozzles then become clogged and cause the printer heads to underperform. This guide details the process required to deep clean clogged nozzles.

Parts

No parts specified.

    • Follow the instructions in the video. Soak lint free cloths with DI water in preparation to soak the print heads on it.

    • Undo the blue latches and loosen the thumb screws till they pop out. Then remove the printhead and place it on the cloths to soak.

    • Let the printhead soak for at least 10 minutes before wiping down with another lint free cloth.

    • Put the printhead back and secure the printhead before attaching the cover. Then run printhead recovery.

    • Finish Printhead recovery and do any maintenance tasks. Then run a print quality test to see renewed results.
