Connex: Material Replacement

Options -> Wizards -> Material Replacement

Make sure to select "Multiple Materials (DM)" under Printer Configuration

Change the materials as needed using the drop down menu

Choose single cartridge if only changing for one cartridge

Run "Full" flushing cycle if changing materials like Vero to MED610 or Agilus

If not changing material, change to "Economy" flushing cycle

If changing Vero to Vero, you can run "Economy" flushing cycle

Pull out the materials that are being changed

Put in the new materials where the old materials were and you will see all green checks

Continue with Material Replacement Wizard

Once you start the material change you cannot stop it, if you pause the changeover, you will need to pick up where the material change left off before being able to start a new print

If only changing a specific set of cartridges, choose advanced settings

Select "Manual slot selection" under Cartridge Positioning and then "Apply"

The Material Replacement screen now allows you to select which cartridge, left or right, to change

Run Head Optimization Wizard if needed

Head Optimization only needs to occur after a material change if the support material was changed from SUP705 to SUP706 or vice versa, or if you have Agilus30 involved at any point

If only switching Vero to Vero or MED610 to Vero and vice versa, Head Optimization is not required
