  1. Tape down pink paper onto the surface to the left of the buildplate

    • Start Pattern Test

    • Pattern test is a visual confirmation of how the print heads are functioning and is solely for the operator

  2. Check for missing lines on pattern test If some lines are missing in a scattered pattern, print heads are still good and operational

    • Check for missing lines on pattern test

    • If some lines are missing in a scattered pattern, print heads are still good and operational

    • If multiple lines are missing from a single head/section, run a purge sequence

    • Options -> Purge Sequence

    • Run pattern test again, if there are still chunks missing, run through a head cleaning procedure

    • If there are still issues, this will most likely indicate an issue with the print head and require a print head replacement
