Introduction to the Granulator

Intake Chute: where material meant for granulation enters the granulator

On/Off Switch: The main power switch

Control Panel: location of the start and stop button, as well as the E-Stop button and the emergency light. The emergency light will flash if there is a problem with the granulator.

Electronics Compartment: Location for the Granulator's main electrical components

Locking Mechanism: Lever for latching/unlatching the granulate chamber

Exit Chute: Where the granulate is extracted from the granulator (by a vacuum)

Emergency Stop (E-Stop): Used for cutting power to the entire granulator in case of an emergency. We generally leave this pressed when done using it.

Start Button: Makes the blades spin when pressed.

Stop Button: Stops the blades from spinning when pressed.

Retaining Bolts: Used when you need to access the granulator blades.

Latch: Used to open the storage container below the blades.

Exit Chute: Where a vacuum is hooked up to remove granulate from the storage container.

A large motor is located on the back which powers the blades of the granulator.
