Introduction

This guide will explain how to remove a model from the Markforged Mark 2 Printers

  1. Lift the visor and remove the build plate Place the build plate in a stable location Use the razor blade to slide around the perimeter of the part evenly lifting it from the build plate

    • Slide the spatula underneath the razor blade if a part need some extra force to get off the build plate

  2. Use the spray bottle full of water to apply a liberal amount of water to the build plate This is to the remove the glue from the build plate If you do not have access to a water spray bottle, or the glue does not come off, use warm water from a sink

    • Wipe off the build plate with a paper towel

    • Return the build plate back to its printer and press Clear Bed on the touchscreen

    • Supports can be removed using pliers or picks and patience

    • Markforged support is generally easy to remove and should not give you too much trouble
