Watching the cutting process to ensure there aren’t any spots with poor cuts.

Turning on the BOFA and chiller.

Have a trained Kern technician or above observe you as you complete the process of creating and then running test cuts on the Kern unassisted.

Successfully produce the following deliverables before being permitted to advance to the next stage:

Create a wooden nametag with both cuts and engraving.

If there is no Kern technician scheduled during the trainee’s shift, you may move on to the next stage.

Read, Learn, Demonstrate is designed to only take at most around 50-75% of your two hour shift. The rest of the time should be used to perform tasks from previous TECH training sections.
