Introduction
This guide demonstrates the steps to grease the z-axis screw of the Ultimaker 2+ or 3.
Reference: Lubricate the Ultimaker 2+ lead screw of the Z motor

If the build plate is already lowered, continue to the next step

If not, in the Ultimaker menu on the printer

Select "Maintenance"

Select "Advanced"

Select "Lower build plate"

Apply a small amount of grease to the Z-screw

Don't apply grease to the smooth Z-rods
-

In the same menu as earlier, use "Raise build plate" and "Lower build plate" to spread the grease

Wipe away any excess grease
