Introduction

This guide will give you an introduction to some short, medium and long term maintenance steps. These must be followed in order to keep the Wazer cutting properly and prevernt more costly maintenance later.

    • After every 4 hours of run time, the following maintenance must be performed to prevent more serious maintenance later

    • Run a tank Cleaning Cycle (found in the maintenance menu)

    • This should be run before and after the machine will be off for a couple days

    • The cleaning cycle agitates garnet on the bottom of the tank, putting it into the use garnet buckets and preventing it from clogging up the drain system and filters

    • Remove the abrasive hose from the cutting head

    • Dunk it in the tank by 1cm to loosen silt that has stayed in the end

    • Flick/shake out the water and ensure there is no water in the hose

    • Repeat a couple more times

    • Reinsert the hose back into the cutting head, after ensuring it is dry, and make sure it is fully seated

    • These should be done after between 20-100 hours of abrasive. The cutting time is logged on the machine under "setup and Maintenance -> Total cut time

    • Cleaning the drain filters

    • Cleaning out the tank

    • Check abrasive flow rate

    • Inspecting the high-pressure O-rings

    • Pump box oil change (first time)

    • Check the manual or online guides for how to perform these procedures

    • These should be done after 300 hours of abrasive

    • Lubricating the Gantry

    • Replacing the cutting head

    • Pump oil change

    • This should be done after 1000 hours of abrasive

    • Rebuilding the pump box
