how to take out and put in tools using the power drawbar

  1. Hold the tool in the machine and make sure the tool holder is lined up with the block on the quil. Press "IN" on the power drawbar. Make sure the tool holder is fully seated. Press "IN" on the power drawbar. Make sure the tool holder is fully seated.

    • Hold the tool in the machine and make sure the tool holder is lined up with the block on the quil.

    • Press "IN" on the power drawbar. Make sure the tool holder is fully seated.

    • Lock the quil.

    • Hold the tool holder and press "OUT" on the power drawbar.

    • Tools holders will get "stuck" if:

    • The tool holders have corrosion(Clean with abrasive pads)

    • Quil is not all the way up

    • Power drawbar was overtightened (tap tool holder with mallet)
